I got one and had to throw it out after about five months. The side rubber guards are held on with some weak adhesive, which holds the two halves of the case together. Or doesn't, really. I bought this case (in pink) a few weeks ago for my new purple nano and its great. The front is clear acrylic so I can still see the cool color and the back is a pink silicon (???) or rubber that provides some grip and allows me to rest the nano on my dashboard without it slipping.
