Typical Cabernet fruit, spice and leafy flavoursinitially, leading to a soft and elegant middle palate. A persistent fruit finish dominated by leafy Cabernet but balanced nicely with oak. Overall a great example of a Margaret River Cabernet from a cooler vintage.

Sorby Adams 2007 Eden Valley Jellicoe Cabernet Sauvignon is a sensory delight, the nose shows lifted briary red berry fruits and mocha from the French oak maturation. The palate is rich and full-bodied with a kind of silky texture and juicy mouth feel that can only come from Eden Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Red berry fruits dominate with hints of mint and nice fine grain tannins add finesse and balance. The superb structure of this wine means it can be enjoyed now but will age gracefully for another...

Jack's Comments: Beautiful black current aromas spill out of this deep red coloured wine. It has a medium body with superb balance of ripe black current flavors and hints of spice and oak characteristics. It really is super wine and this is a steal at the price.

This is a stunning red wine of opulence, style and elegance. A real Cabernet of substance and gravitas, one that is varietal and regional and ticks all the boxes for what Cabernet should be like and taste. Of Bendigo origin and made by Sergio Carlei, the wine exudes black and red fruits, all spice filled and with liquorice and forest floor also taking a place in the line up of characters making their presence here. Well crafted, put together with judicious oak and seamless ripe tannins. A wine that...

We have four small, separate vineyard blocks totalling about ten acres. Our original block (D block) was planted over a decade ago to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. There has been further plantings of these four varieties since then, together with two parcels of Tempranillo and Gewurztraminer.
