The Teresa Manara is a blend of 85% negroamaro and 15% aglianico and sees maturation in barriques for approximately 12 months before bottling. The wine is all dark plum and blackberry fruit with some nice orange peel lift on the nose. On the palate it shows some wood influence but the underlying fruit asserts itself and is laced with nice spice and mineral nuance. PWS
