Sorrenberg Sauvignon Blanc Semillon - 2008$29.90
This wine comprises of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon. Altogether the fruit had 8 hours skin contact prior to pressing. This wine was 100% barrel fermented with predominantly larger barrels used. All went through natural yeast fermentation. The extended lees contact helps fill out the middle palate and gives this wine the extra dimension it is known for.

Riedel Cornetto Single decanter$189.00

Two Hands 'Brilliant Disguise' Moscato - 2008 (500ml)$16.95
“Pale silver-straw. Delicate peach, melon, nectarine and smoke aromas are complicated by white flowers and minerals. Sweet pit fruit flavors are firmed by refreshingly bitter pear skin and quinine qualities, with a late jolt of lime zest adding energy. More serious, firm and focused than most examples of this style, which are often simply sweet and loose-knit.” 89 points

Mount Langi Ghiran 'Billi Billi' Shiraz - 2006$15.50
Mount Langi’s entry level shiraz; Billi Billi's is made for drinking young and fresh, however it will stand it’s ground if cellared for a few years. Good colour, vibrant, fleshy texture and ripe, raspberry and plum jam flavours. Excellent regional blend exhibiting structure and depth. Ripe, generous and distinctly peppery around a generous core of ripe plums. Smooth finish.

Provenance Pinot Gris - 2008$26.90
The marriage of grape variety and terrior is the key driving force of Provenance Wines; the early ripening habit of pinot gris prompted an extensive search for cooler regions. The 2008 vintage comprises fruit sourced from a cooler vineyard located in the Henty region at Tarrington. At an altitude of 200m with an average rainfall of 700mm on a gentle northerly slope. Provence were excited by the potential of the fruit, grow in red buckshot soil, derived from ancient volcanic basalt, mineral rich and...

Hugo Cabernet Sauvignon - 2006$19.95
Elegant lifted flavours of blackberries, blueberries and herbs, are balanced by guarded acid and an element of perfume spice. Excellent varietal herbaceous elements add to the already harmonized characters of this well structured wine. Careful use of new and used predominantly French oak has emphasized the depth and complexity of this wine. Will continue to develop and round out for a minimum of 5 – 7 years with suitable cellaring. Expresses all the grace and style you would expect from this variety...

Innocent Bystander Pink Moscato - 2009 - 375ml$11.25
“Italian Moscato has been a big hit in Australia, inspiring local winemakers to produce their own. Innocent Bystander, made from Murray Valley gordo and black Muscat, is one of the best. The super-fresh, rose pink 2009 is like a mouthful of crushed muscatels, with a spritz of gas and zesty acidity adding zip. Delicious.” 4 Stars

Alta Pinot Grigio - 2008$21.50
The colour is vibrant straw with golden hues. Distinctly varietal aromas of intense grapefruit and citrus blossom. Refreshing palate with exceptional mid-palate weight. Fruit driven with rich pear and zesty lemon citrus flavours, the palate has great length and persistence.

Leeuwin Estate 'Art Series' Chardonnay - 2006$84.95
2006 -"97 points - Bright and youthful colour; a complex array of nectarine, grapefruit and spice, particularly cinnamon, is offered on the bouquet; the palate exhibits understated power, with grilled nuts supporting the very generous, yet refined, level of stone fruit and oak; the finish is staggeringly long, fine and complex. The adoption (since '05) of screwcaps has brought a collective sigh of relief from its many admirers. Drink: 2011. Margaret River produces Australia's most complex chardonnays...

Katnook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon - 2006$38.50
2006 -“What a thing of beauty this is. Ok, so there’s a slab of coffeed, toasty oak but, applied to this season’s serve of high grade regional cabernet grapes, this has resulted in a flavour not unlike roasted nuts - a very good thing. It has class and substance and a good, juicy finish. It’s a big style for a cab of this region, but it’s a really good rendition of it” Score 94

Tar & Roses Heathcote Shiraz - 2008$16.90
“It’s a simpler wine than the 2007 but there’s still tonnes of enjoyment to be had here. It tastes of blackberry and sandalwood and earth, and from the instant it hits your mouth to the moment you swallow, it’s all about fruit flavour. The aftertaste is an amalgam of eucalypt, spice and toasty oak, though the oak is very underplayed. This is a generous, enjoyable, fruit-driven wine of immediate appeal.” Rating: 91

Zilzie 'Bulloak' Sauvignon Blanc - 2008$100.00

Hesketh 'Hidden Garden' Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - 2008$19.50
"This is bigger, more thought-out sauvignon than your average Kiwi, and certainly a lot more chop than your average Adelaide Hillsby. Rather than simple grass and acid, it offers layers of complex tropical fruits, with cantalope, banana, custard apple, and jackfruit predominant. There's a cheeky top note of phosphate and burlap, and a neat turn of Chinese gooseberry acid in the finish, but it's really a grand, healthy, viscous beauty. All that plush yellow flesh!" Rating: 93 points.

Katnook Estate Shiraz - 2005$38.50
Colour is very deep plum with purple edges. Nose of an attractive array of ripe fruit flavours of raspberry, licorice and plum with hints of spice, pepper and sweet maturation characters of vanilla and subtle char. A rich, rounded palate structure with ripe flavours of raspberry, plum and sweet spices with an underlying distinctive pepper of Coonawarra shiraz . Subtle vanilla and chocolate oak maturation tones combine with soft tannins adding to the wine’s generous length and lingering spicy finish.

Hewitson 'Ned & Henry's' Barossa Valley Shiraz - 2007$23.50
Superbly sited vineyards grown on red soil over limestone, the classic terra rossa, provide the fruit for Ned & Henry’s. These vineyards are traditionally grown, low-cropped and produce the necessary flavours and tannins for our wine. After traditional fermentation the wine is pressed into quality French barriques, where the wine finishes fermentation and malo-lactic fermentation. The wine matures in these barrels for a total of about 15 months before racking. While the base wine has always been...

Galli Estate 'Artigiano' Block Two Heathcote Shiraz - 2006$29.50
Block Two is a big powerful typically Heathcote Shiraz. Deep purple in colour, there are blackberries and violets on the nose, with a wisp of Central Victorian eucalypt. Layers of intense dark berry fruit and Moroccan spice unfold on the palate, mingled with subtle liquorice and vanilla. The deftly handled French oak enhances the richness of the fruit and adds complexity. Block Two is a wine with structure, length, and fine tannins. It will continue to improve over the next 5 or more years.

Bremerton Verdelho - 2008$16.95
The Verdelho is made using only free run juice, and minimal skin contact prior to ferment. This has given expression to primary fruit characters. There is a combination of several fermentation parcels picked at varying ripeness levels providing added depth and complexity to the flavour profile. No oak was used in the production of this wine.

Isabel Pinot Noir - 2005$43.50
First thoughts were....like sipping cherry-cola out of a cigar box.. Voluptuous wine with integrated tannins, spicy nose, rich and elegant, a dark ruby colour, with chocolate nose and concentrated fruit flavours of plum and ripe blackberries with a subtle spiciness, pepper and smoke notes. A luscious length palate, full-bodied with an outstanding depth of fruit, drinking well now, we believe this wine has the structure of a long-lived wine.
