Award Winning Fragrance

Fragrance foundations all over the world sponsor and hold awards ceremonies every year to determine which scents have achieved "standards of excellence" in the industry. There are several different awards ceremonies:

Basenotes Awards: Each year, Basenotes asks fragrance consumers which scents they enjoyed the most, and these go on to become winners.
Cosmetic Executive Women Awards: Also known as the CEW awards, these began in 2006 as a way to "recognise innovation and creativity in beauty products", including fragrance.
Fifi Awards: Arguably the biggest recognition products in the fragrance industry can get, these are presented by Fragrance Foundations in the UK and the US.

For easier reading of the reviews below, many scents are described as having "notes" which are the essential oils used in the fragrance.
