Bridal Lingerie and Hosiery Buying Guide
After all the fanfare that comes with the dress

Bras
Depending on the cut of your dress, you may need a strapless bra or a backless one. Below, a couple of cuts to consider. As for colours, most bridal lingerie is available in white to keep with the hue of the dress, but you can always buy lingerie in black

Underwear
Check out your options for the different underwear cuts to go with your bra. Colour and pattern designs with underwear can be just as creative as bras, and you can also choose to have wedding-related wording like "bride" across the back or the front, which makes it even more fun! Consider what type of cut looks good and feels comfortable, and also if you want tummy control.

Things to Remember
A few more helpful tips before you say "I do."
- Make sure you feel comfortable. This applies to everything: the wedding day lingerie and the wedding night lingerie. If you don't feel like you look good or your lingerie seems too tight to the point where you can't breathe, then it's probably not going to look as flattering as you want it to. Try on a few options and pick something you want - if you like it, chances are your significant other will too!
- Wear a bra that you know is supportive and will last you all day long. Don't take the chance that straps will be falling down or you will have to keep hoisting up your strapless.
- As for underwear, make sure you have a comfy pair that fits snugly as you don't want to be worrying about picking that wedgie during the ceremony!
- If you choose to wear a garter belt underneath to hold up your stockings, make sure it is not bulky and doesn't show through the wedding dress.
- Always bring an extra pair of pantyhose for the wedding day. You don't want to take a chance that your pair is going to rip.
