All Hail the Queen
Every second Monday in June, Australians (with the exception of those living in Western Australian, who observe the day in either September or October) enjoy a public holiday in honour of the Queen's Birthday. The date is not actually representative of Queen Elizabeth II
The Queen's Birthday, apart from being a commemoration of the Commonwealth, also ushers in the beginning of the snow season and related activities, such as skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and so on. While it might not yet be cold enough for snow this early in June, there are still plenty of creative ways to enjoy yourself. Consider skating
