The Chenin Blanc vines at Voyager Estate are some of the original Estate vines planted in 1978 and, as a result of their age and our viticultural practices, they consistently produce superior fruit. The style of Chenin Blanc that Voyager Estate aim to produce is that of an easy drinking aromatic white wine. Not aiming to make a complex or wooded style but instead a wine that retains and displays the vibrant ripe fruit flavours of the variety, complemented by a small amount of residual sugar.

Selected from the Snowdens Bush, Mt Arthur and Brightwater vineyards in Nelson. The diverse soil types within these 3 vineyards gives this wine a great range of flavours and great structure. These Sauvignon Blanc grapes were machine harvested and protectively handled. After juice clarification the wine was innoculated with pure, aromatic yeast strains and cool fermented. Once dry the wine was stabilised, filtered and bottled. The wine displays a wide variety of classic Sauvignon characters.
