Ceremony Readings

Ceremony readings  are almost as important as the vows  in weddings, as they enable the betrothed couple to tell their guests just how they feel about each other and express their love through poetry  or literature The passages you choose can be recited by anybody that you feel is important to your wedding: a godparent, a best man, the maid of honour. Make sure to choose something that you both like and, if you want, have the words printed out on the wedding programs  so that they are a lasting reminder of your special day.

Religious

Some popular readings during weddings come from a variety of religious texts such as the Bible religious figures such as reverends, and various cultures such as that of the Navajo  from North America. Depending on your beliefs, these traditional readings can be worth looking into.  This site offers a few popular Biblical passages for weddings.

Literature and Music

For non-religious readings, there are lots of options for your wedding. Consider poetry, literature and even song lyrics  when trying to decide what fits best with your ceremony. Check out some of the names below to get started.
