Beer Buying Guide

Ahhh, beer The world's most popular drink after water and tea Whether you're pairing it with a slice of pizza  or just drinking it by itself, a quality bottle or glass of beer makes all the difference for how your night will go.

Types

There are a two main types of beer that will help you figure out where to start. Note that some, but not all beers, give you the option of buying of bottled or draught.   Bottled beers  have little or no yeast  and therefore differ in taste from draught, which comes directly from the keg

  • Ale : This is the most popular type of beer. Types can can range from pale ale which is a lighter beer, to stout which is typically a darker, heavier beer.
  • Lager : This type of beer differs from ale because it's made from bottom-fermenting yeast and not from the top. Popular types of lager include bitters ciders  and Pilsner
